I just joined MySpace and I wanted to know where you can get backgrounds and music to put on your profile.

there are many places - for the music try the bands webpage on myspace...the layouts are easy to find if you just google search for them....or look @ a friend's page & go to the source.

at the top of your page where it says:
Home browse search etc etc etc etc music
click on music and then it will have a search box and type in the artist
click on the first icon that your artist has, and when their page loads, there should be a box on the upper right hand corner with songs in it and if you find the song you want click ADD.

The layouts you see are a combonation of HTML coding.
Easiest place is to go to a free layout site, i believe myspacelayouts.com is one.

to choose a song: click music then type in the artist name, then click on the song, then click on "add"
to find a background: go to various websites, I often go to www.freeweblayouts.net or www.myspacepimper.com
