is that wrong? to work at being nice to people

No, wow I found someone like me!!! Although sometimes I work at it and sometimes I don't. It just depends on the people. The only thing that's wrong is when you let people walk over you. I'm to nice sometimes and people have walked all over me because of this. I've even been told I'm to nice. But I can't help it. I guess I just don't like when people get mad at me. So I always try to avoid conflict. There's so many people that aren't nice in the world. I compliment you even if you have to work at it. Who cares, nobody knows this but you. I wish there were more people like you in the world. It would make the world a happier place!! A girl I work with and am friends with always sees me talking to different people that aren't in our department. She'll be like who's that now you were talking to. Gosh you are friendly to everyone. It's really rewarding it's true I've befriended so many people just by being friendly. I tell her you're missing out!!! I'm glad you're the way you are!!!!!

NO. In fact what you're doing is making this world a better place one friendship and one person at a time. I commend you for that. If only more people weren't so self centered and nuts the world would be a much better place.

NO! It has it's own rewards. Not only does that person feel better to have meet you,but you feel better too. Being nice is apart of respect. When you give respect you usually get respect. I think it's wonderful!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is admirable . If more of us did this life would be a great deal better for all of us ! With all of the tensions and stress of everyday life sometimes we all need to WORK AT IT !

i do the same thing.no,it's not wrong.it's actually very admirable.the thing is,people can take advantage of that.they'll start treating you like a doormat,once they know you'll do anything to please them.
don't be a doormat.keep your pride and dignity.be nice to people,but don't be too nice.give yourself some kindness,too.
