We are all observed (not spied upon) more now then ever. Security cameras are everywhere. Your records are monitored and also observed. Obey the law because all of these things can work both ways for you or against you. It's just a fact of life.

Can't say they do and I can't say they don't, but it is more likely that some comercial enterprise is spying on you right now, that is everytime you come on the NET. Why else would these anti-spy programes be selling like hot cakes. I don't like the idea of the government spying on private citizens any more than anyone else I think. But since I'm not doing anything wrong I don't sweat it. If they're spying on me they must really be bored by now. lol

Of course. Especially in times like these you wouldn't be suprised on how many things you cannot get away with anymore since the government orchestrated 9/11 to justify the spying.

Do you believe that they have the resources to spy on everybody all the time? I do believe that they filter communications for key words and patterns through computers then if it raises a red flag they listen, analyze or record. I do not believe however that there is some guy sitting on the phone listening to the entirety of my boring phone calls. I wouldn't care if they did.

what is disturbing to me is this country was founded on the idea that the government was supposed to be representatives of the majority. it is a separate entity which defies the constitution and the basis for the formation of this country. the irony of the whole thing is, we spent years fighting communism and oppression, and now its us thats on the recieving end by our own government. of course they spy on us and slowly, but surely, they are beating us down and taking away one freedom after another in the name of national security. alot of good people died in wars just to keep this country from being what it is today. its like the government that they gave their lives for is now spitting on their graves.

Yes. The government spies on us.
They admit to spying on us.
They admit to illegally spying on us.
They admit to illegally spying on us, an action found unconstitutional by federal courts.
And still people seem to have no problem with this illegal behavior.

Here you go again with the questions.
No the government doesn't spy on us unless you are doing something or associate with someone that has attracted they're attention.

Are you kidding????
Hell yes they do! And they should not be allowed to! I have no ties to ant terrorist network, though I do think Bush is the worst president this country has ever had and I am sure they have a folder on me! In fact, I know they do!
