A Razor is just a type of cell phone. Cingular is, however, a cell phone provider. I believe you can get a Razor phone under providers such as Verizon, I don't know about Sprint, Cingular... I don't know if there are any others. I, myself, owning a Razor (Cingular) would not recommend the purchasing of one. My reason being is that many times they will freeze up, requiring the user to remove the battery from the phone. Often it drops calls for absolutely no reason. I know also of another instance where it automatically began to delete information from the phone such as ringtones and numbers. My advice would be to look into another provider as well as another style of phone. There are also plenty of hidden fees with Cingular, which I have just found out, my third month into the plan. Hope this helps.

Your question doesnt make sense! The Motorola razor is a cell phone and Cingular is a cell phone company/carrier. You can actually get a razor through Cingular.

HAve RAZOR v3. IT SUCKS. looks nice. everyone says "ooh, is that the razor phone?'',,but it gets dust underneath the screen and it is so small that it drops all the time. by the way I'm on my 3rd razor phone now because all of them have the same issue. Motorola who makes the Razor doesn't care to fix the design flaw. T- Mobile doesn't care to have their vendor, motorola fix it either. I'd say go with Cingular - was old CellularOne - A much better company - even has ROLLover minutes.

I'm confused, isn't razor a kind of phone, and cingular is a wireless carrier?

I tried to shave with cingular after I read your question. No doubt about it, razor works best!

Also, it is called the Motorola 'RAZR,' and there is apsolutely no way to compare Cingular Wireless(a wireless service provider) and the Motorola RAZR (a specific model cellular phone). The RAZR is available through several service providers, including Cingular and T-Mobile.

Cingular! Razor has bad service/weak reception. I have Cinguar and it has never dropped a call even in an elevator, parking garage, etc. It's the real deal.
