try dabbing a little vinigar on it see if that helps the sting

Thats not a fire ant thats a cow ant dont know what to do for it but a fire ant is a tiny black/red and it hurts bad really nothing u can do!!

There should be a little bubble or a bump of puss where the ant bit you. Pop it very carefully, then put on either anti-itch cream or benadryl gel. You could also take benadryl because if it is swollen you are allergic to the bite.

Honestly, spray Windex on it. The ammonia will take away the sting and itch. But don't do it after you have already scratched the heck out of it. As soon as it happens you spray it on or put ammonia on it. It really works like magic.

thats what my family calls a devil ant and they say its supposed to be poisoness but I dont really know so dont really listen till you get a signifigant source but you say its orange here they are red so I dont think its the same species

Calamine lotion.
My baby was attacked by what looked like thousands of them and the dr. said he would have died if I hadn't dowsed him in calamine lotion before I got him to the ER.
But if it's only one, you probably don't have anything to worry about.
