Set up a web mail account like Yahoo Mail or Hotmail. Gmail offers the largest space at the moment.
If you knew how to use Yahoo Answers then you already know how to set these up.

I am sorry but you are in the Stone Age of technology.

Most ISPs allow you to have multiple email addresses on one account. Just check with yours.

However, possibly a better solution is just to get a free email address from Yahoo (http://mail.yahoo.com ). They do a pretty good job at spam filtering, it's web-based so it's totally portable, and you can keep your email address even if you change ISPs.

First, if he doesn't know already, explain about downloading viruses and stuff of the web. Tell him to be careful what he does. Then, sign him up for a free Yahoo account.
