I collect elephants and Betty Boops... I think lots of people collect items- things from snow globes to foreign money- it really just depends on the person collecting...

seems like nowadays people are into collecting "vintage" things from their past. I was a child of the 80's and a lot of my generation are collecting old HeMan, Strawberry Shortcake, Fisher Price / Little People, records, record players, etc..... The most popular thing to collect has always been coins, but is it the NEW quarters (and their book) count as the most popular coins collected?... it seemed like everyone was in the "new quarter collecting" phase!

Stamps and coins; comic books; spoons from different places; snow globes; collectible plates and dolls; baseball cards; hats; shot glasses; tea-cups; memorabilia from the era in which they grew up.
