No, Yahoo uses exact timing - it's caught me out before!

They mean exactly 240 minutes from the time of the Question being posted. You don't have to wait for the 5th hour to start, but that's what I do nowadays, because that way I'm sure I can choose 'Best Answer' without getting that irritating screen that says, in effect, 'oh no ya don't!'
