I am a junior. My real first name comes from the French translation of my Grandmother's true name, Black Bird. Her mother's name was Dark Bird. Translated into French this comes to Merle Maurice. Now you know why I use my confirmation name Chris.

My name is Laura and I was named after the movie 'Laura'. My parents were going to call me Jessica but the day before I was born they were watching the movie Laura and decided to name me after the heroine in the film. However, while she is the bewitching enchantress - she is also supposedly murdered 15 minutes into the film. Hmmm....
