uhm, none of these are the answer for the area. 34,500,000,000 (aka 3.45 X 10^10) squared = 1.19025 X 10^21 (which is your "a" multiple choice answer) but then you have to multiply by pie which makes area ~ 3.73928 X 10^21.

the answer is a. just square 34,500,000,000 (or 3.45 x 10^8) using a calculator.

plug 34,500,000,000 in as r. square it. multiply by pi. m refers to meters if that was confusing u.
