What happened to the good old fashioned news that reported on the facts and nothing but the facts? To boring for most people? I believe the news channels should stick to proffesional journalism and quit throwing in their two cents every oppertunity they get!

Oh, I agree, they are very opinionated, sensationalists and they have a no-holes barred approach to getting news and, in some cases, even making it up where there is no story at all. Truth be known, its all about ratings.. truth and honestly in reporting have flown out the window.. I do believe that the worm might actually turn on them one of these days!

CNN has been like that for a while now. Actually, all of the news networks are, but everyone that has been over to Iraq that I have talked to has told me that Fox is the most accurate. CNN only cares for the Democratic view and is probably the most biased one.

Unfortunately, my friend, you will be rather hard-pressed to find a media outlet that ISN'T opinionated. There is a polarization in this country, If you cannot play to one side or another, you really have nio chance of survival. AS a member of the Media community, I can tell you that is really something that is causing quite the internal struggle. What consitiutes objectivity and what is subtle backing of an issue?

Couldn't agree more. CNN isn't as bad as FOX News or MSNBC, but cable news in general is crap. I get most of my news from the internet and only rely on CNN for breaking headlines (they do, afterall, have a pretty extensive network).

That is why I watch the news channels at the top to the hour. After the headlines, the rest is just junk.

All mainstream media news channels are biased and opinionated at some way. Fox News is opinionated too, and so is MSNBC.

I watch CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC when I want a liberal viewpoint on various issues.

I watch Fox News when I want to hear conservative views.
