Had period last week and seemed heavy, but did have odd discharge before that and was very emotionally about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Lower back is killing me and some achiness in my hip bones. Also had some cramping about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I don't cramp with my period. I am on Ortho evra. Please give real answers... don't just tell me to take a hpt I know that! thanks!

i was just wanting opions from mothers that would have an idea of typlical symptoms. I know I will need to take a test I am 23 not a naive teen who most of the preg posts are from. I would be very happy to be prego after all we plan to start trying in Jan anyway :) Can't wait. My symptoms that I posted are not typlical of my normal PMS. Also I have been having some intense headaches this week. Not charting temps at this point. Temp has been high in the middle of the night, day and morning... Not real consitancy and it does drop to what seems to be normal about 97.6 periodically. Also, don't think the symptoms are related to the BC since I have been on it for years...However, I know that my body may change and react differently with time to the BC.

Do you normally chart your temps? 99 seems high post period. Usually once you get your period..your temp will drop...mine is usually 97.6 or somewhere close to that. It really depends on what time of the day you're tempting. If it's first thing in the morning..chances are you are pg. If you have 18 or more high temps after ovulation, this is a pretty much garaunteed sign of pg. If you chart your temps...you should know when you ovulated. Period could be implantation bleeding...or you might have had lower temps...and are just now getting high temps...which would suggest that you have recently ovulated. Have your high temps been consecutive since your period? I wouldn't assume anything until you get to know your body better. I def recommend a book called Taking charge of your fertility...this will answer all of your questions...A good sight to go to...(It's free) is fertility friend...They have experts that can answer all your questions. I am currently trying to conceive and have researched these things in depth...Good luck to you...and definately check out the sight!

Well it could be possible that you had an early miscarriage, i would suggest that you see a doctor. i had some of the same symptoms and i found out that i had a very early miscarriage called a missed abortion miscarriage which is when you are only a couple weeks along but for some reason your DNA and the father's DNA is not compatible. For you it could be something different but at any rate don't just try to guess it out, go to a Doctor and get the answer. Good Luck

Let's examine the facts as you say they are. Your temp is 99 F and normal temp is 98.6 F. Very low grade fever if at all. Normal.

You had your period last week. Chances are if you had your period last week you are not pregnant. Normal.

The discharge and very emotional synthms maybe regular PMS. Normal in women just before their periods.

You are on Birth Control pills. Not pregnant 98% sure. Normal.

I vote that you are not Pregnant but just Normal woman, Glad to hear you are on Birth Control.

but remember you are asking for medical advice on here... go see your doctor, it is the smartest and safest way to go.

You should not necessairly go by the basal temp rate, because you have to know your baseline temp. Also, one good way to assume is to pee in the morning and look at your pee, if it seems to have undissolved things floating in it, you very well could be. You should take a test as well and then confirm with a blood test. If you try to get pregnant you should do ovulation sticks, and you are most likely to get pregnant 24-36 hours after you LH surge is indicated.

NO you aren't. I experienced the same symptoms several months in a row, until i talked to my doctor and it ended up being side effects from my Birth control, also my stress level was more advanced then usual and that can cause your body to do anything. I would go and see your doctor and tell them everything and get a pap. You will be ok.

You need to see your ob/gyn for a check up to make sure you are or are not pregnant. I had my period for the first several months of all three of my pregnancy's, and I was on b/c also. Every pregnancy is different so don't take any chances with your health or that of you baby's if you are. I hope everyone works out ok for you!

You could be pregnant, I'd go have a blood test. The basal temperature is used to tell you when you are ovulating, I don't really know that it will tell you if you are pregnant or not. Is it possible that you were pregnant and are experiencing an early miscarraige? I'd go to the doctor.

This one is easy, go find a coat hanger bend it out straight with a hook on the end, place it up in your body into your uterus, root around for a while, if you pull it out and there is some little garbage piece of filth baby there, flush it down the toilet, you and the world are better off without it. We dont need more babys on this earth, they are a mere annoyance.

If you pull out your hanger and just get some strange discharge, then yes go see your doctor, you could have an infection or perhaps something more serious.
