there my favorite bands next to a few more that i cant remember at the moment. but there are bands that are probally better but i love these more than most

AC/DC has a very distinct, unique, heavy guitar sound that no other band can duplicate. Even if you are not familiar with their musical catalogue, you can easily identify that it is AC/DC that you are listening to if an AC/DC song comes on the radio. They are one of few hard rock bands that have danceable tunes, too. So they get some cross over.
I don't agree about Led Zepplin. They never did anything for me although I completely understand their influence in music and place in rock and roll history. I'd rank the Beatles or the Stones as the greatest band.

I would have to say either The Rolling Stones or Jimi Hendrix Experience after Led Zeppelin.

I like Leg Zepplin better by far..
I love the Moody blues best

Gotta agree with the first guy -- Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin beat AC/DC any day in my book. AC/DC's fun though.

Neither one of them is "the greatest band ever.", although AC/DC is much , much better than Led Zeppelin could ever hope to be.
