I'm aware that they're making two movie length eps to finish - but they're not shooting till spring next year... That means release date is late next year in the States and I'm in Australia! *sigh*
Besides, this is technicaly the end of the series...

I wouldn't use the word "sad", but disappointed of course.
Unfortunately, all shows come to an end - untimely, or otherwise.
It has been a good run, and I have enjoyed it.
According to this writeup, the show - at $5M per episode - was too expensive, and Milch understood that.
