It's not that hard. We assume decimal. We see [2] that C = 1. From [5], and the fact that no other relation involves C in tens place, we know that D = 2 and F >= 7. Substituting, we have:
[1] F x E = HJ
[2] F x 1 = F
[3] F x F = IH
[4] F x B = G2
[5] F x 2 = 1I
[6] F x H = A2
[7] F x I = HF
[8] F x G = EI

From [4] and [6], we can tell that F cannot be 7 or 9 so it must be 8. Again substituting,
[1] 8 x E = HJ
[2] 8 x 1 = 8
[3] 8 x 8 = IH
[4] 8 x B = G2
[5] 8 x 2 = 1I
[6] 8 x H = A2
[7] 8 x I = H8
[8] 8 x G = EI
[9] 8 x A = DH
And this about does it. It is evident that I = 6, H = 4, A = 3, D = 2, J = 0.

It has to be 10 or higher because F x E= HJ meaning 10 x 1=10

but the second line F x C=F how can this be if it's in order between 1 thru 9? What times 1 is double digits, if the same # times 2 is a single digit? This has got to be a trick question....

F is 8. Here's the full solution:

J=0
C=1
D=2
A=3
H=4
E=5
I=6
G=7
F=8
B=9

8 x 5 = 40
8 x 1 = 8
8 x 8 = 64
8 x 9 = 72
8 x 2 = 16
8 x 4 = 32
8 x 6 = 48
8 x 7 = 56
8 x 3 = 24

Very cool puzzle. Thanks for the challenge!
