I happen to think that the Punisher could kick anyones ***, plus he has to be the most realistic Idea for a superhero because he has no powers he just has some really big guns, some really big muscles and a really big hardon for fighting crime and giving all of those bastards exactly what they deserve, not a liftimes stay in prison, sucking our tax dollars down the drain for 20+ years, each.

Well first off the punisher by definition isn't a superhero, he's an Anti-Hero. As are Spawn, Blade, and pretty much every other "dark" hero in modern comics. Of the Truly Super heroes I think that the best is probably Spider-man, He is a regular (though highly intelligent) guy who comes across his powers as the result of his interest in science in high school. He struggles with his own morale dilemmas and still some how saves the day most of the time.

Wolverine of course He has Super fast Healing, Hyper Senses and has 3 cool 9-inch claws in each hands, he is a great guy, rough and mean but he would do anything to protect his friends, for him to go through what he has in his long life I think he is amazing.
Rogue is my other favourite, She can fly, has Super Strength and she can absorb powers and life forces from people, and although she can have no human conact she still survives, she is strong on the inside and tries not to let her mutation affect her life to much even though it would be hard living with not being able to touch the ones you love, I think she is a very brave and powerful character

Batman.
He was one of the few superheros that did not actually have any superpowers, yet he was still able to save many people. I mean if you actually had superpowers you really have only the choices of either become a superhero or villain or go into hiding and have serious issues. Batman actually made the conscious decision to put his own life at risk to protect others. He also had one of the coolest costumes and gadgets.

Batmanis the coolest. Not the most powerful or the fastest, or the whatever, but the coolest. He's got the best costume, the best reputation, Bruce Wayne's millions and Catwoman's hot for him. What more could you ask?

Punisher is lame. Anyone can carry a gun and shoot. Ironman is the best. Can fly, shoot lasers, is bullet proof, and is very strong. And when Tony Stark doesn't feel like being a superhero, he just takes off the armor.

Invincible.
Robert Kirkman has been able to write a consistance book of a character developing his abilities as well as copeing with a "real" life, and just had some truely funky crap thrown his way. Just a great book.

Green Lantern because he wields the most powerful weapon in the universe and he uses to do good even though he could quite possibly make the universe his own.
