Very Good Question ... here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing. I must preface by saying that setting up your business, even if part time, as a legal business entity will let you write off any marketing expenses as well as supplies on your taxes so while you may have to collect sales tax in your state, you won't have to for mail order. You will have to pay income tax on profits (if any) and get a nice tax credit for loss. With that said, there's Ebay, your own website, mail order (catalog or post card mailings - start with only 20-50 and see what happens), consignment in local stores, local holiday craft shows, and just passing out flyers and/or business cards to others with a web address. NOW is the time to get busy with the marketing and with the production. If you wish to consider donating a specific portion of profits to charity, you will get them on your side as well. Go with something like Unicef, Salvation Army, United Way or something well known as opposed to an off the wall charity like the Gopher Rights Society.

HI,
I would suggest ebay or even getting your own website with your name that you can promote. For instance, how would www.christmasstockings.ws sound? You could then advertise virtually anywhere and have your own presence on the web for people to view your items.
If your interested in getting your own website, you should check this out:

Go to Etsy! It's similar to ebay, but it's specifically geared towards crafters. You'll get more of an appreciative audience there.
Good luck selling your wares!
