I am 20 years old. I am 5'4" and 90 lbs. I have NEVER weighed more than 95lbs. I am currently at 90 and the lowest I've ever weighed was 84 when I was 19. I do not have an eating problem. I LOVE FOOD. I eat all of the time but I can't seem to gain weight. I also have TERRIBLE hormone problems. I don't know if they both go hand in hand but my husband is in the Army and I would love for him to come home to a more shapely woman. I am tired of walking around in size 0 pants that I have to wear a belt with. IT SUCKS. Please any help is appreciated.

Take some protein supplements, increase your caloric intake with healthy foods, not junk foods. Eat more meat, beans, and drink whole milk. Cut back on "low-fat" or "low-calorie" foods. Increasing the good things in your diet will make you gain pounds in the good places for a man like butt and breasts. Good luck!

I think you should find out more about your hormone problems - maybe you have an overactive thyroid - Do a search for "hyperthyroidism" on www.google.com to find out more. Since you say that you eat a lot, it sounds like the hormones are probably the cause of your problem. Try several different doctors if the first one can't help you. These days it can be hard to find a good one and get the right diagnose and treatment. Also, start searching the web and reading more on your own.

I had almost the same problem 5'2" 90 lbs, then i got preg. and had a kid. I got all the right padding in the right places....the depo birth control shots have been known to also add a few pounds..talk to a nutrtionist
