"Thena Thyekthena Bhunjeethaa" (meaning Enjoy thru Sacrifice)

“just like it could be said Celibacy probably is an order that makes us feel the whole world around to be colourful, beautiful, wonderful, joyful and of course romantic.”

Another perspective jk wants to bring in here practiced by many when they go about a goal..

“’Brahmachaari’ is the one who’s aim in Life is to achieve the ‘Brahman’ and all other things are just passing clouds.”

It is said that the number of ‘Purusharthhaas’ (the things that are to be achieved in life) are four; namely ‘Dharma’, ‘Arthha’, ‘Kaama’ and ‘Moksha’. (meaning righteousness, wealth, desires and Enlightenment/Salvation)

Recently my Lady Athmavidya told me that, the life of Human Being is given to me to go after the fourth Purusharttha ie ‘Moksha’ (which can be said to be Divine or Godly) with a go….get it, ‘Doing’ philosophy attitude and regarding the other three which are sensory and material in nature I should follow the ‘Being’ philosophy.

Note:-
Philosophies of Doing and Being

i think probably ther r two ways to play our roles in this world. One, the Male philosophy of existence and two, the female philosophy of existence. These philosophies need not be confined respectively to male and female only as the names indicate. According to the situations provided both these philosophies are practiced by both male and female irrespective of the gender.

The Doing philosophy is all about fixing the aim and then go….get it, whatever happens in between. The Being philosophy is bit reactive. See the circumstances and environment and adjust accordingly to be able to face it, to survive for the time being. One is result orientation and the other is path orientation.

The answer is yes under certain conditions. If the libidinal energy is specifically focused it can become abstracted to the sort of love that is 'agape' in Greek. This is a generalized sense of care for others.
To this in another way to make it clearer, if the instincts for a mate and towards care of children are sublimated towards others then it can work. But this is a process and requires a mental platform.

I would wager not. People that are sexually frustrated usually have that frustration spill onto other things in their daily life. Sex is a natural need and if one part of your psyche isn't accounted for, everything else is effected.

i suspect not. i was celibate for many years, at times intentionally, at other times not, and i never experienced these effects.
