i guess the way to get a cheap phone is to click on the banner ads that always advertise at the top of the page...or go to your local swapmeet. i think the plan you get is gonna be more expensive than the actual phone...go with pre-paid or pay as you go plans.

metro pcs if you have it in your area is the cheapest u can find it starts at $30 a month unlimited local calls and for $40 you can get unlimited calls anywhere in the states. i pay $60 a month and have caller i.d. voicemail unlimited text and unlimited calls anywhere in the u.s.a. no contract all u have to do is buy a phone from metro (i think the cheapest right now is like $80) and your good to talk

most phone places have a free phone when signing up for an agreement/contract...or if you want to get a prepaid phone, your best bet is walmart or eBay....they will be cheapest there..

get a pay phone which is a cellphone that u use only as much as u need and u can decide ur monthly payment

or u can join a plan like ur parents plan or something for only about 10 bucks with sprint but idk if that deal is still going on
