you should maybe seek a dermatologist whenever you can. just keep your face clean and don't use make up that's gonna clog up your pores. don't cake on make up because it makes it worse. breakouts stop depending on the person, but I'd ask a dermatologist now if I were you.

Acne is known to continue for a long time, and a lot of people have them all their life. But, if you find a way to control it, than you can be acne free. Remember, there is no cure to acne, only a way to maintain it.

I HAVE THE ANSWER TO ACNE!

I have a teen aged brother and me who have struggled with Acne for years...we tried many things, including Proactive and prescription medicines as well. Then, we found the solution.

Please don't shrug it off because this can help you a lot.

I was searching through the Internet and found www.acne.org. The site is owned by a guy named Dan. Dan, struggled with acne as well. He read medical books and tried many things on the market. Then, he found the way. BENZYL PEROXIDE! Now, I bet you have used it many times before but it hasn't done much right? Well, the reason is because everything on the market is 5% or 10% Benxyl Peroxide. These irritate your skin which causes MORE acne! (Touching it irritates it as well which causes more acne.) There is one thing on the market that has non irritating Benzyl Peroxide....2.5% Benzyl Peroxide. Netrogena on the Spot Acne Cream has 2.5. Nothing else on the market. You can get stuff on the Internet that have 2.5%! It is also on the site www.acne.org.

The regimen includes: First washing your face with a cleanser (suggested ones are on the site)

Then, drying and adding LARGE AMOUNTS or Benzyl Peroxide. In the beginning very little but you rank it up to 2 fingers after time.

Last, you moisturize, because the Benzyl Peroxide may dry up your skin. Suggested ones are on the website as well.

Go to www.acne.org and read about the clear skin regimen.

THIS MAN IS NOT TRYING TO MAKE MONEY...HE IS NOT SELLING ANYTHING!
He just wants to help. I have clear skin and so does Dan. There is also a forum where you can read more. The site teaches you how to pop a zit the right way and to find out other products that have work well.

I hope I Helped!

(My brother who is also a teen is clear as well. This regimen takes about 8 weeks to be completely clear but you will see gradually the acne go away. There is no cure for acne, so you have to do the regimen every day until acne goes away.)

My mom still gets breakouts and she is 52. Her's are hormonal so she just covers them up with makeup. If yours is too bad to cover up or occurs all the time, you should see a dermatologist if you can afford to.

My answer is yes. I'm 33 and have acne (mild) since I was 10. Everybody told me not to worry that it would go away on it's on. Others told me that after I would have kids it would be gone. My kids are 9 and 7 and guess what? The acne is still there. Take care if NOW, before it will scare your face and make your face look coarse and blotchy

I'm 32 and I still get them. Some of us just have to be more conscious of what we use on our faces, unfortunately. If it really is bad (and it sounds like you're worried about it) then see a dermatologist - it can't hurt, and if nothing else they can tell you the right products to use on your skin.

It really depends on you and your face. Also for some this applies: the earlier it started, the earlier itll stop. my cousins stopped at 16.

I have an acne problem too so I know how it feels. Hang in there and seeing a dematologist wont hurt.

Good Luck

Don't "expect" your outbreaks to ever stop.I am 50 & still have major breakouts. If you are on birth control, talk to your GYN.Salt water & sun will do wonders! Try searching the internet(maybe under " health-skin" or type in "skin acme" in search field.these options should steer you in the right direction.

you should consult a doctor and ask him about it. You should try to wash your face more often and you should definitely consult a dermatologist
