Okay has anyone ever had an infected pimple??? What does it look like and what happens when it busts? Thanks!!!!

they usually have a white head/yellowish head..and when popped they ooze a yellowish puss..
nothing badwill happen..pop it and use some proactiv

Here's what you do:
Get 2 pencils with good erasers on them
Take a pencil in each hand, eraser towards the pimple, about 2 inches each from said pimple
slam them together on the pimple and GO FOR DISTANCE!
The world record for farthest zit popped is 7 feet

Ummm.... I did not know that pimples can get infected. Just keep it clean. If you want to know what happens when it busts... bust it. But I don't really recommend it. It can scar your face. Just wash your face and try an astringent.

NEVER bust a pimple! it will leave a mark on your face. use a foaming face wash followed by a scrub then a toner daily. doesn't matter what brand it is so don't spend a lot of money!

Well, all pimples are technically infections. I have had some very nasty ones in my time, but they will clear up eventually as long as you stay clean.

Technically they're all "infected", being that they are filled with bacteria. Anyway, if you have one, leave it alone, if you feel like breaking it open, use a tool designed for that. Do not use your fingers, you could spread the bacteria and cause damage to your skin. The tools are usually much kinder. Good luck.

it didnt happen to me but am guessing that maybe it looks redish and may produce white kind of substance. And the area might be very painful or itchy. Better get it checked out by a doctor just incase.

An infected pimple is a boil.
They ooze nasty stuff when they burst.

i myself have never heard of this but dont think it can happen since a pimple is a closed bump on your face till it pops so it cant be possible that it is infected

Well I have never seen one, but I know that you don't try and pop them and try your best not to touch it because the dirt and oils from your fingers can make it a lot worse. So just keep cleaning it and it should get better.
