Homer is my favorite.
But there is something elegant and compelling about Lisa. Bart is just mini-Homer, but Lisa is a fascinating composite of Marge and Homer. Initially, she seems like the penultimate anti-Simpson, but she has just opted for a unique and dynamic dysfunction that is the unique product of her distinct parents.

Homer. Gives me hope for myself. I used band-aids over the check engine light long before Homer ever existed. Cheaper than having the garage turn it off.

Lisa! She is sooooo conflicted, strong and sweet to live trapped in her family as the person she is! However my very favorite bit part (such a thing in cartoons??) is the Comic Store Guy! He is AWESOME. I love his sarcastic and bitter comments!!!!!!
