What do I do when I am missing New York terribly,want to move back there, but my girlfriend doesn't want to move there because it's too "hectic and crowded" for her?

go with your heart and mind if you want to move and she doesnt try a long distance relationship and see how that works or ask her try moving here nyc isnt that bad she can adjust to the fast pace

i wish you would have told us where you were now living. I am a New Yorker now living in Florida and loving it. Oh I miss my kids, but they are slowly migrating south. So what you have to weigh out as I did is - are there jobs avail where you want to move back to, what is the rent, utilities etc. Do you love this girl enough to stay with her? Personally i feel to heck with the hight cost of living in new york.

I don't know..but I have always maintained that no matter where I was..the minute I shut the door....I was home.....maybe you could convince your gf of that.
