Only the fact that I don't own stock in it and there are yahoo police on here:) Na, it has plenty of categories to confuse people now!

The same questions are asked over and over and over ... examples are: what's the best stock to buy? where can a (insert age of choice) year old find employment? should I file bankruptcy? For the Love of God, can't these people look at the archives to get even more advice and opinions before posting the same questions over and over and over??? But, hey, we all have the choice to answer or not answer ... and it's free. I guess we can't really complain. I do enjoy the nominations of "best answers" because at least some people respect honest answers to the honest questions. There are some questions that are just too stupid to reply to. I don't waste my time. This question, however, is a good one and looking forward to hearing the other answers.

Aah, if only there was some way to limit this site to facts, rather than open it up to all sorts of opinions. I thoroughly dislike the seemingly-prevalent idea that anyone whose opinion is different from one's own should be called various and sundry names. Facts can be right; opinions can -- by their very nature that defines them -- NOT be truly right or wrong.

I'd like to see a ban on deliberately rude or crass answers and on any and all name-calling. Not only does it allow the answerer to embarrass himself or herself somewhat publicly, but it can also be harmful to the person who's on the receiving end of this immature behavior.

I would also like to see the use of the spell checker become mandatory! Some entries are so badly spelled that they are nigh unto impossible to read. Of course, if that were to happen, I'd like to see the dictionary of the spell checker expanded to include legitimate and correctly-spelled words (no, I don't mean impolite ones) and their various forms it now calls misspellings.

I do like being able to participate with so many people from all over, most of whom I'd otherwise have no way of meeting. I also enjoy getting to share some of the bits and pieces of knowledge I've picked up along the way to becoming who I now am.

Is there any way we could have the members' countries displayed without violating their privacy? I would find it interesting. It would also make answering easier. For example, I don't want to tell someone to try a product or service her home country may not have.

I like to read what other people think about certain issues. I am thinking about things that are interesting that I might not have thought about otherwise. I can ask a question anonymously and find what other people think about an issue I don't want to discuss with my friends.

I hate that so many people who seem to be native English speakers can't spell, have such poor grammar, don't punctuate sentences, and can't run a spell check.

I think there should be a section devoted to the topic of alcoholism. (If there is one I missed it.)

I love the fact that sex predators can get nixed off real quick. I used to go to the chat rooms but soon realized that nothing but sexual predators are on their, not my cup of tea to say the least! This is the cleanest site Ive ever been on and love the people Ive met. Anything added, I would like to see the sick sexual questions gone sooner than later. Sometimes it takes alot of reporting before they are gone.

i dont like it when perverts make comments..or swearing is used because we dont know what ages look at this site. Little kids are being exposed to things they shouldnt be exposed to! I think that questions and answers should go through a filter to detect these things! My entire family is dedicated to yahoo. and the worst thing about answers.yahoo.com is these questions and answers that arent necessary. This portion of Yahoo was meant to gather information, not to put vulgar comments because its "funny"! its not funny, its disgusting!!! i get really upset because I know kids use this site and they dont need to be exposed to these things! if you have any authority could you please do something about installing a filter! this site could be a lot more popular withOUT the vulgar comments!

I really like helping people when I know trivia questions and get happy when I earn 10 points, but I dislike all the individuals who treat as a place for their perversion .. and if you ban them, they keep changing their names and coming back

Let's just say you didn't know an answer to something and you ask it on Yahoo. Then, a day later you found out the answer to your question. You can't post a reply saying: Thanks for all your answer but I just found out the answer already.

Furthermore, there are ppl that give idiotic answers such as: I don't know.( if you really don't know, don't answer. Your "I don't know isn't helping anybody.) or "Who Cares"

I only dislike the opportunity to get more info or the opportunity to discuss or reply easily.
Sometimes when someone is so insulting in their answer wouldn't you just love to talk back to them?
