I buy the tide powder soap from Costo becuase it usually last me at least three months. I like tide laundry soap becuase it can get out hard stains without fading the clothes and the smell isn't too strong.
You should consider tide laundry soap.

Tide. Have been using Tide forever. I did try others but there is a difference. i like the powder because if it gets on my hands it doesn't bother my skin as much.

I also love Shout for stains and for really dirty i add OxiClean liquid - seems to work better then the powder.

Happy Laundry!

I use all small and mighty.A little bit goes a long way. I have a family of five and I am always doing laundry, small and mighty seems to last longer in our house then all the rest. All small and mighty comes in many scents, costs less than most soaps and you don't use near as much. Heck it comes in a little bitty bottle that doesn't take up any room at all on the shelf.

My favorite is Fab. Sure smells good.
A long time ago I read in Consumer Reports that the worst liquid is better than the best powder when it comes to getting clothes clean. So if I cant afford Fab, I just buy the cheapest liquid.
Also using dryer sheets makes everything smell April fresh.....especially clean sheets and pillows.

I adore Tide! The new Tide Simple Pleasures Vanilla & Lavender smells wonderful. They even make a Downy that has the V & L. Go to https://tidedownysp.offerprocessingcenter.com/?utm_source=tidehp&utm_medium=ban&utm_campaign=sglUS&utm_content=jly&WT.mc_id=sglUS.tidehp.ban.jly&source=sglUS.tidehp.ban.jly to get a free sample. That's the best way to try it.

Era liquid detergent. Works very well, dissolves easier than powders, and I use it to pretreat the laundry such as under arms and on collars. Usually cheaper than tide and the other liquids. Have used it for years and years

Tide - It is a little more expensive than others but after trying several others I have realized you pay for what you get.

I love the smell of gain as well but cannot afford it. What I do is by the big dispenser bottle of Xtra, mountain fresh scent, at walmart for like $7 and then I buy the big bottle of the gain fabric softner. I personnally like the apple mango scent. Good luck.

Tide Coldwater is rated very highly by Consumer Reports. It;'s a bit pricier up front, but you'll save money by not having to use hot water. They claim you'll save $60 a year. It'll nearly pay for itself! ALL is cheaper, and also rated very good.
