That's because on a manual trans there isn't one. You need to go under the drivers side of the car at look at the trans. You should see a square plug on the side remove that plug and stick your little finger in the hole. If you pull your finger out and you have lubricant on it then you don't need to add any to it.

First, find out what kind of lubricant is correct for it. A lot of newer cars use transmission fluid in manual transmissions, but I suspect a 67 Camaro might use a gear oil. Search the web to find out. It probably doesn't have a dipstick. Look for a plug on the side of the transmission. The lubricant goes in there until it starts coming out. That will be the correct level. You will need a suction gun to put it in because you can't pour the lubricant in.

Standard transmissions normally don't have a dipstick. Most of them have a drain plug and another plug on the side of the gearbox. You just put gear oil or recommended fluid in until it reaches the bottom of the plug hole. Double check your type of car and gearbox to make sure this is true.

If you must know there is a plug on the side of the transmission
under the car for which you have to take this plug out and add 80-90 gear oil..

my husband said it doesn't have a dip stick. has a fill plug on the side of the transmission. fill it with 80W90 until it comes out the fill hole. this is my husbands exact words. lol its usually an allen head plug. look on the right side of the transmission. he also said get a manual for a muncie 4 speed. good luck

I hope your kiding. If its a standard tranny. it wont have a dip stick. it wont need fluid unless you have leak.
