Try thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army. Often they have great deals on new or near new running shoes. My Nike Airs
look like new ,,, they cost $5!

I have found that if you check out websites for department stores, (Sears, JC Penny, etc.), they usually have very inexpensive items that you will not find in the store.
