I'm a junior in college and I'm wondering if its just me that isnt really into drinking alcohol. Yea, I go out to parties on weekends but I'm not crazy into partying either. I like to go out to have a social life. But is it just me that is like this? Because all my friends are hardcore partiers so at times i feel like im the only one.

No it is not just you. You are in college getting your life together and giving it a great start with a good education. Partying is okay but getting blitzed or being out of control just aint you thing! You sound more mature and much deeper than your friends. You have some serious goals and you sound very together.

Not All of people are not into wild party scene. If you go to parties to meet new people and don't care about drink then that should be okay.
At least your a concious student that thinks about their future. As along as go once in while to have fun then no harm is done.

No tons of people are like you are and eventually the smarter ones will get tired of it. Meanwhile while they're still partying you can get finished up with school and started into a career without the benefit of hang-overs!

honey keep thinking like this it will keep u out of trouble and away from the wrong people u have come this far and all that u have accomplised u did it no body went to class for u no body studied for u so u did it yourself with the help of your parents and their money i'm guessing so don't worry because your friends party a little harder then you keep up the good work

No, it's not just you. I have a ton of friends who just want to party, but I also have many who don't. I used to be right into partying but I'd rather do something that doesn't mess with my head so much. Like the internet:)

i'm still in high school, but i feel the same way. even though you are getting close to the drinking age , i think you can be a tough turkey and stick it out for another year or so, you are cool for not following behind everyone else and you're setting a good example for your friends. it's ok to not be all liquored up so soon and it's ok to say no for now.

I'm sure your not the only one! You sound like a responsible person in a group of drinkers. That's very admirible! Keep up that attitude and you'll be better off then every one of those other people.
