Chemical cleaners may drive the paint into the brick.
Sandblasting will damage the face of the brick making it open to absorbing water.
Both these methods will change the color of the brick making it necessary to do the entire side of the house.
Why not carefully paint over the white paint with paint the same color as the brick?

Pour some kutzit on it and use a pressure washer. Guarantee it will come off.

A 3000 psi washer with a 0 or 15 degree tip will work fine. The Kutzit will soften the paint.

Paint remover is the ONLY way to go. The other answers will do more damage than good. Use semi paste, let sit several hours, and rinse with soap, water and a scrub brush.

Try using a 4" angle grinder with a wire brush attachment, it will be slow going but you can control it well and not damage the brick, also there are no chemicals involved.
