Liriano and Santana are the hottest pitchers in the Major Leagues right now. Too bad Liriano is injured, though.
Mauer is set to become the first full-time catcher to win the batting title. Morneau is one of the best Canadians in the MLB, and he's also one of the top power hitters.
Good pitching and good batting got the Twins to where they are now. The management decided a few years back to develop their minor league players and not spend so much on big-name players (like the Yankees), and it looks like it has paid off.

Yeah, i know the twins are good. I am a sox fan...red and white. But you are an fag. Shut up and never talk again. The Twins dont even have a real baseball stadium. Look at their outfield wall. ITS MADE OF RECYLED GROCERY BAGS. But all those teams you just mentionioned (besides the Tigers) also did something in the past five years that the Twins DIDNT do, now what was that?........... They are definitely the most exciting team in the league right now. I think they are something like 51-19 in their last 70 games. They are so fun to watch. Like the 1 run road victories they squeaked by the White Sox the last two days. They do all the little things. Move the runner over, then a seeing-eye-single to go up by one.
This is their year! Win it for Kirby!!! !!!!

they brought in good players, they developed joe mauer who is amazing, they got santana, tori hunter, lou ford, etc they got lot of good players, they are good organization, the run it the right way.
