They are equally powerful in their own way. None can survive without one of the other and all can destroy one of the other.

Water. Water can put out fires, flood lands, erode mountains, freeze in cracks of rocks and break them, and is in the air to make us too hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Water shapes the surface of our Earth, creates caves and sinkholes. It is definitely the most powerful force of nature.

Well despite their status as the origial alchemical "Elements". None of them really are. However, fire has to be the most powerful, as it is the only one which can mould all of the others into alternative things.

they are not considered elements now. but form your choices, it would be water. we are 70% made up of water and all organisms depend on water to live. that makes it powerful for living things. second would be air for breathing, then earth for food and last is fire.

No one element is more powerful than the others. Water can put out fire, but air feeds fire. Water can move earth, but air has to move it (hurricanes start with wind). Each one can depend on another, or cancel another out.

,they all balance, with the quintessence, the fire and air represented by upward pointing triangles, the earth and water, represented by over lapping downward pointing triangles, this makes the star of David or it is also called the seal of Solomon, with the six points six spaces, and the quintessence, without witch, the fire from earth would make the water would boil, in the presence of air, you see now all things are equal, love and light
