To remove ink stains: Saturate area with White Rain hairspray until ink appears to loosen. Do not wet the area beforehand. If the ink stain still appears, continue to saturate the spot- aiming the nossle directly on to stain and watch the stain disappear right beofre your eyes. After saturating the stained area with White Rain hair spray, rinse the spot thoroughly with cold water before washing as normal.

Ink stains are very difficult to remove. Here is some of the best information I've found about removing ink stains.

Place an absorbent paper towel or rag under the stain.

Saturate the stain with an alcohol-based hair spray - or you can use rubbing alcohol or acetone.

Blot the stain with a rag or paper towel.

Repeat, if necessary, until stain is removed.

Launder as usual.

I hope this helps.

Spray on a non-oily, alcohol based hair spray. Saturate the ink stain with the hairspray. Blot with a rag and repeat until the stain is gone. Apply prewash stain remover and launder as usual.

OR
Try milk, put the piece of cloth into a cup with milk and you'll see it vanishing... then wash or dry clean as usual.
OR
rub with salt and wash with bath soap.
Or
Use simple rubbing alcohol to remove ink stains. Take some alcohol on a rag, dab on the ink then wipe with a soft rag or paper towel. This isn't sticky like hairspray."

i use aqua net
then blot
then aqua net
then blot

over and over

if its not getting all of it out soak the stain in rubbing alcohol and let it sit for a little while
rinse with cold water

then go back to the hairspray & blot

if its a really dark stain you will fade it and you will be at a point where you feel like its never going to totally come out
then
put the washer on small load and let the cold water fill without putting the shirt in yet
liberally spray on more hair spray and leave it for 15 minutes or so
put a full cup of rubbing alcohol in the wash, a half cup of vinegar and a half cup of baking soda
put the shirt in and let it soak for half hour
run the wash....the stain ought to be gone...if it isn't its a lost cause

Remove ink stains on cloth by placing lemon juice directly onto the spot. Allow to sit overnight before laundering as usual. Repeat if necessary.

Hairspray is perfect for getting out ink stains. You might also try a little downy undiluted. But the hairspray usually works every time.

We did this too! A laundry owner told me to use a hand cleaner called GoJo that mechnaics use to remove grease. Rub it into the stain and then rinse by hand. I had to repeat this several times. Don't put this in the dryer!
