Hey some one gave me a negative.....

Anyway, what about any other cool reaction things at all. It doesn't have to be just things that make fizz.

#1 Mix equal parts of isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and water. It does not matter the amount of each as long as it is equal amounts. Soak a US Dollar bill in the mixture (a $100 bill will also work, but try with a $1 bill first to make sure your mixture is correct. When still wet, hold bill with tongs, and light it on fire. The bill will burst into flames, but the flames will magically go out without burning the money. This trick has a better effect if you don't let your audience know the bill was soaked in the mixture.

#2 Put about 1 inch of water in the bottom of a 20 oz plastic bottle. Add some dry ice. Put cap back on tightly AND QUICKLY!! Throw bottle as far away from you as possible. It will explode.

Warning: #2 will draw the attention of neighbors, police, etc. If done correctly, it is louder than a gunshot. If done incorrectly, you might lose a finger.

#3 Not an experiment, but kinda neat none the less....Diet Pepsi will float in water while regular Pepsi will sink

#4 Placing a 9 volt (the little square one) on steel wool will cause it to ignite.

#5 If you place raisins in fresh, cold soda, they will bounce up and down. They will float up from the bottom of the glass to the top. When they reach the top, they will fall back to the bottom. Mountain Dew works well for this. I think its yellow color adds to the effect.

Mentos and Diet Coke work the best by far. You can use any soda but diet works best because it leaves no sticky residue(sugar free). Other combinations are pop rocks and soda are supposed to create a large amount of fizz but the porous surface of mentos causes a huge chain reaction that cant be found with other candy.

You could make a soda balloon with it... Put the mentos in a massive balloon.... Pop over opening to soda bottle, let mints drop in and hold on to the neck of the bottle with the balloon for pricey lifestyles.... Then tie it off and chuck it at any one muhahaha
