I currently have an ipod mini, the battery only lasts about a few hours. So im going to use my warrenty to get it fixed. When they do this, would I be able to pick a mini of a different color? Like, pick a new mini entirely?

not unless you want to pay for a new one. if you go get yours fixed, they will fix yours...not give you a new one. It's not broken (electronically).

Are you sure that your mini is still in warranty?

Unless you bought the applecare plan, you only get 1 year. If you bought the extended warranty through Best Buy or something, not sure what they'll do.

If the battery needs to be replaced, they will replace the battery... that's it. If it's not covered under warranty, you can buy and replace the battery yourself. Google "ipod battery," or check out:
