I think he does have special feelings for her, but, to him, if she did go out with him and became a couple, he would think she was trying to be considered a "saint" for being with him.
A season or two ago, House and Cameron did go on a date and Cameron told him she was once married, that she knew her husband was going to die, but she loved him and wanted to be his wife and took care of him until he did died. To House, this only means to him that she wants to be labeled the "saint" for taking care of him or wanting to deal with that drama and baggage he is carrying. Maybe not this season, maybe next season.
