Yes it can hurt your credit. A friend of mine, had a bad credit history because his mom had opened credit cards in his name when he was just a little kid and the mom didn't always pay off the credit cards. He didn't want to get his mom in trouble, so he accepted his credit history. At 16 you are old enough hold a job and have a credit card, so if you order something and don't pay for it and it goes to a collection agency it will go on your credit history.

If it does, it's already happened, and you probably would've seen some type of increase on rates. I personally don't think it'll have an effect on your credit score. You may want to check around on some free credit score websites.

I don't think so. You were a minor and it is their fault that they didn't ask the right questions before selling to you. Most places ask your age and if you are under 18, you need your parents permission. Have your parents check it out for you. They will take care of the problem.

Probably not, you are a minor and therefore not held responsible for debts. But, your parents probably are responsible for it, and if you have the music, you should pay for it if you want to do the right thing, unless you like the idea of stealing.

NO, not very likely that it will hurt your credit later. But if you owe the money, why not pay the bill and make sure it is cleared from your record anyway?

Unless you lied about your age when you ordered the music, a juvenile cannot be party of a contract.

Hmmm. not sure...but can a collections agency actually do anything to you when you are a minor? I think that would go to your legal guardians....

No - you were a minor and you can't be held liable for it. They screwed up.
