No, never have. First they were the Broad Street Bullies, nasty nasty players. Now they have Hitchcock as a coach and Derian Hatcher so they are just as bad.

I love hockey in general, but the Flyers are my team. They are my home town team and they have my favorite player in the league in Peter Forsbreg (and yes i liked him when he was a Nordquie/Avalanche).

I don't have my hopes up too high this year though. The defence is paper thin without Johnsson (Free Agency), and Desajrdins (Retirement). Also they are weak at center to start the season Forsbreg might or might not be back for the start of the year and Primeau (unfortunatly) proabably won't make it past the second week of the season because of his concusion isssues. That makes the Handzus tade a little weak I think. They are already week on right wing, can't sign their number one left wing. At least their backup goalie is very strong. Honestly with the way things are going and the fact that the Flyers only have picked up 2nd, 3rd, 4th line players over the summer Ihave my doubts if the Flyers will even make the playoffs this year. ; ; ..... ..... ..... at least they are better off than the Eagles are far as depth.

Yes, I do. I loved the way they layed down for my Red Wings back in the '97 Finals. Ha, Ha. I kid, I kid. Seriously, I'm one of the true hockey fans who are disappointed with the Flyers. Every single year they have all the talent, and all the promise you could want, and every year they blow it all to bits in the playoffs. The Flyers should be amongst the Red Wings, Avalanche, Stars, Devils, Lightning, and Hurricanes as Stanley Cup Champions in this past ten-year era, but they can never get it done. Maybe Philadelphia's sports teams are cursed.

Not really,

Ken Hitchcock is a great coach and they have some great players (Gagne, Forsberg, Niittymaki).

Unfortunately, the organization seems a bit dis functional.

I get the feeling that Ed Snyder is a bit too involved in the hockey side of things.

I have heard that Bobby Clarke is married to Snyder's daughter, talk about job security!

Overall, they may have the best scouts in the league but letting Clarke run the show even after some of the mistakes he's made will keep them from raising the cup.

I like it when they are in the playoffs as win or lose they are an interesting team. Given the legacy of the Broad Street Bullies, who likes a bully?
I laugh at the moves Boobie Clarke does like he's never figured out they won those Cups thanks to Bernie Parent and lax officiating back in the '70s. The goalies he signs have just been hilarious over the years. Even last year, why did Hitch play Chico R. Eche when Niittymaki took Finland to the Gold Medal game at Torino?

No. Never did. Never will. Bobby Clarke can not Build a team the way he would like in today's NHL. The games are called too tight for Clarke's liking. Those who remember Bill Barber in the days of the Broad Street Bullies How many diving penalties would he be called for? Nobody dove like Barber and Barber got alot of tripping penaties against the opposition.

Hell Yea, just moved to Philly last year and Flyers games are the most fun games I have ever been too. Eagles are a close second though, unless you are a 'skins fan that is.

No. They are a GOON SQUAD! Even if I concede Primeau is a talented player, I hate to see him stoop to this level.
Their strategy is to try to physically destroy as many players from other teams as possible. They are also SLOW on the ice because of their huge size.

Go Devils! Heck! I would even go as far to say "Go Rangers" if I had to choose between them and the Flyers.

How can you possibly like a team that is run by"Bobby Clarke" This guy has no soul. He is buddies with Alan Eagelson who screwd the NHLPA out of millions and he cans a coach who was battling cancer a few years back.

Due to Bob's bad karma this team will not win anything
