I really doubt he was insinuating that you or him is gay, just that some rules about cleaning need to be established. It sounds as if your new roomie got to pick up after everyone else before. Make a point that each of you cleans up after himself, as
I doubt either one of you are looking to pick up after the other. That's what he's talking about most likely, so chill.
You could punch him in the mouth, but frankly, then you would have to clean up the broken teeth and bloody mess, and since you don't know him well enough to know wether he's got an STD, I wouldn't recommend it.
