keep practicing you are starting early try to take training camps get involved in as many basketball related tournaments and camps. now if you end up short you have a long hill to battle but it can be done with a lot of determination. now about the age you cant do anything about getting into the NBA untill you are 18

It's not about practicing once you hurt your ankle or knee you are done and the chances are so slim there are only 12 people on a NBA roster and theres like 30 teams i think so that is there are only 360 players in the NBA the chances are extremely small and you have to go to a well known high school to actually see how good you are.

what is your height. what is your build.
what is your position.
can you make 20 of 25 NBA 3 pointers.
can you make 90 of 100 free throws.
can you run a mile in under 7 minutes.
are you the best 12 year old that you know. did you play or are you in the 7th grade.???
did you average over 30 a game in rec league?? if you are that good you should be much better then others. and you should score that many points. did you>>>???? ????
practice doesnt make you good. doesnt gurantee you a spot. it just is effort. if you dont practice correctly--- what do you have..... can you beat all the 16 year olds you play that play in high school. if not--- then you are just and average 12 year old. and you THINK you are better then you are...

id say u have a good chance of making it if u continue this way but once u go to ninth grade try out for the high school JV team so that if ur really good u can be in varcity by 10th grade wich is really good and by the time u become a senior ull be really good and people from univercity's come to watch u and if u play really good u can get a scolarship and play for them then from there it should be much easier to get drafted

Just hope you become over seven feet tall, because centers have a better chance of making the nba due to the lack of good big men. Many centers have below average ability and athleticism.

You can man. Just keep outworking everyone. Dont set your sights on the NBA just yet. First you surely wanna make it to college basketball. You can also make alotta money playing pro basketball in europe. Alot of good people dont make it to the NBA and give up when they dont know that there is alot of money to be made overseas. Plus you get to travel the world.

you can do it. just learn to be a leader out on the court. don't be a one man team but instead learn how to make your team better as a whole. than when you get to high school lets see you win some state championships. stay determined, this is the greatest sport in the world.
