Learn hw to use your TI-8+? Engineering tests seem to be mostly math and physics. The only way to get good at those tow subjects is practice and logic. The following link may help.

As with all stadardize tests, approach it as not only possible but beatable. Eliminate stupid answers. Make sure you know all of the instructions before taking the test.
Good Luck.

You have to first cover the GATE syllabus for physics. It will be available in one of the IIT sites. Like www.iitkgp.earnet.in, www.iitg.earnet.in, www.iitd.earnet.in, www.iitm.earnet.in, www.iitb.earnet.in etc. Then you have to collect the previous year question papers from some nearby book store if they keep or from students appeared last year or more.Even Brilliant tutorial provides three to four years GATE questions with solutions to each of them. Also it provides some book references. I hope this will work.
Wish you all the best.
