I think we're so obsessed with being "PC" and having "zero tolerance" that we are creating a nation of confused and bitter crybabies. We cater to every micro-faction and no longer look to the majority. Schools spend more time worrying about the kid that ate a twinkie than they do about the kid that can't read. We let our kids sit in front of a television eating entire bags of chips and whine because they've become gelatinous blobs. We insure that if they happen to get on a bicycle, they are dressed head to toe in children's kevlar. We use electronic babysitters to protect them from porn and bad language instead of teaching them ourselves and blame the media if they learn to swear. Criminals don't even have to be creative, they can hide behind a stolen firearm-wimps. I think our society has actually become more violent as it has become more sissified. I've said it before, I'll say it again...if a fight on the playground still resulted in a bloody nose, a trip to the principals office and maybe a call home instead of a school board coronary and 10 day suspension, we'd have a lot fewer wimps and a lot more graduates. Tolerance is a good thing. Just not when it's gone to the point where no one in this country has a backbone. Lvillejj-what was your Dad doing while the women of this country were screwing it all up? I think we all bear the blame and we'd better get a grip on this country before we successfully defeat ourselves.

Yes. It is political correctness at fault. Remember in grade school we played games like, Smear the Queer? Now days, dare say it as a game and you are sure to be called a monster. Just an observation and that you are so correct about that. Freedom of speech is becoming a joke. Sadly in the nation I love.

I believe it is the womans fault in this country because from birth we are taught don't fight, be nice to others, have manners.....and if you look around everything is designed to be pretty, and elegant, where have the REAL MEN gone in our country? Oh wait there all in prison or the military, I have another theory behind that but will save it for another time.

The last 3 generations of Americans would curl up and die if you so much as take their tv away, let alone raise the price of big macs. What percentage of high school kids could hunt for their own meal? It's no wonder backwards fascist extremists believe they could easily wipe us out.
