Like Eminem. His lyrics are so hateful towards everyone, his baby's mother...his mother. Now I'm just using him as an example. But what happened to the hip hop with flava and the love that came with it? Or the message it tried to teach? It seems to have been lost in the cash of the business. Is there anyone else out there who agrees with me?

dmoney, if he wants to use his horrible life as an excuse to spread hate then so be it. I've lived a hard life too. Abusive family growing up, watched my sons father turn into a crackhead and then kill himself slowly. But I prefer to sell love then hate BECAUSE of what I have been through. I understand that people have different ways to express themselves, but misery does love company, doesn't it.

It's simple they want money. It's hard to find real tasteful music nowadays. I mostly listen to the old songs back in the days the one that still have meaning and still work through this day.

The musicians are just giving the teenagers in todays world what they are thinking I guess. And the people who listen to it are just idiots because to me that is not music. I liked it when Will Smith or Salt-n-Pepa just played music you just like listening too. However everyone who is buying the music is promoting it so if it sells then the musicians will give the public what they want. So in a way the public is responsible for it.

They make what people buy, and negativity is what sells. Hence the Will Smith album, he doesn't cuss or anything, how many albums do you think he sold? Like 50 Cent (my fav.), he has sold more than 20 million copies if you count all the Cd's and soundtracks he has done, by telling the TRUTH!

Yep, I agree. It's funny how teens, and adults, make these people rich buying their music and going to their concerts. Do you think they care if you can't pay your rent or feed your kids because you paid out the *** for tickets to their concerts to listen to them "sing" the junk they call music.
