When I heard that they dont use cars, I wondered about bikes.

well there are Amish around here where I live not "Close " But they come into town for supplies from Lowe's .. I have never seen them on a bike ... Just there cart and buggy . It is freaky some times when you are at a red light and see them right in front of you waiting to turn also ..LOL ... Anyway, I also know there are Lade back type of Amish they however do have bikes and cars .. They remind me of Pentecostals But they are Amish .. I never knew ( before I moved here ) that there where 2 types of Amish

I have seen Menonites use bicycles but never observed my Amish neighbors using bicycles. I have seen them use carts, wagons, buggies and little four wheel cart things, but I can't remember ever seeing a bicycle.
The next time I'm home, I'll pop over and pick up a pie and ask.
Oddly enough, I have seen them use gasoline engines to run a saw.
