a close friend or relative over a large diamond worth millions if they were both slipping on a mountain ciff over the ocean a hundred feet below?

It totally depends on the friend/relative. But watev it is, I would save the person. You cound always earn millions, but the person which is gonna die has no chance of getting back. Plus, diamond is the strongest stone, so it wont break. You can always send people in search for it and get it back.

i got a better question if u had a wife ok and u had a child if they are both diying of a deadly decease and if they dont get operated soon they will die and u only have money for one operation u cant get money from anywere u just have money for just that one operation who whould u save ur child or ur wife
