I have dark brown hair, VERY fair skin, and hazel eyes. Every eyeliner I try (black, dark brown) looks really harsh, and every blush always looks dirty against my pale skin. So what colors/brands of eyeliner & blush would be good for me? Do you know any specific products or color names I should try?

You should use light brown, pink, or purple makeup.

Not sure about the eyeliner ... but for the blush try BareMinerals "warmth" It is not a heavy blush and gives you a sunkissed glow like you were out in the sun all day. I also have fair skin and use all of the Bare Minerals products, the warmth has to be my favorite. If you go to an Ariva spa they sell it and will put it on you so you can tell if you like it before you buy it.

As for a brand I use Cover Girl... the blush I'd say would be a pale rose color maybe, I don't use eyeliner but maybe see if you can find a color that is close to your eye color. I can't use eyeliner, I can barely put on mascara without poking myself in the eyes cause my eyes twitch so much.

You should try a plum liner it will make your eyes stand out and it wont be as severe as brown. For fair skin opting for a pencil gives a softer look. As for blush try a peach hue. A cream blush will blend lighter on the skin and it will make your ivory skin radiate. As for brands. Im never opposed to cover girl or maybelline for the eyes and cheeks.

try Lancome. They make soft colors and the blush subtle goes on really smooth and light. You need to use a medium brown eye pencil and smudge it with your fingers tips so it has a smokey appearance.Go for dark brown mascera but dont let it clump. One light application will do.

Along with the good tips people are giving you here, you could go to CoverGirl.com. If you do a free online consultation, they'll tell you what colors and techniques you should used, based on your eye/hair/skin tones, etc.
