Get a roach bait in gel form from Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. and put a small amount in the corners of your cabinets and around your plumbing under the sink. Just make sure it is a roach bait and not an ant bait. Clean with bleach to erase any trails left for others to follow.

What most professionals won't tell you is that borax is a major ingrediant in their bug kill. If you have pets or kids though, you'll want to keep them out of it. You can find borax in the laundry section under the name Mule Team Borax.
In the old apt. complex I lived in they bug sprayed regularly there, but I still mopped with borax water. I left just a little more water on the mop than usual and let the borax water seep into the edges of the house.
Raid Bug Bombs do work most of the time. If your apt. complex has a monthy bug spray, like most places do these days, then catch the exterminator on their day there and talk to them. They should be able to help you best.

Well I have heard that bombs dont work on roaches. I always have used a roach bait and last time I saw a roach here was about 2 months ago. I also am using the higher grade of stuff. My brothers dad owns a bug spraying place and he hooked me up the industrial stuff. See if maybe you could go to a place and buy the industrail stuff and I am suprize that your apartment complex doesnt but bait or spray.

Boric acid does help, bleaching the floors around the walls, the bombs don't really help; but the problem is that they probably already have infested other apartments. But, try EVERYTHING all at once, hopefully that will rid the issue. Good luck.

I also heard that boric acid works ut have never tried it. I would call an exterminator. "Cmbat roach bait traps" work rather well.
Combat Quick Kill Formula Baits for Roaches

Boric acid works, it's a poison so make sure you keep it away from pets and children. Stay away from glue strips, they'll actually attract the bugs. If you're looking for natural solutions, catnip tea as a spray around pipes and cupboards works and works well. You just have to to reapply it every week or 2. Spray under and around counter-tops, around pipe openings, around any appliances. Also bay leaves left around cupboards will discourage the bugs. Good luck

Spray the edge where the walls meet the ground with a spray like orthomax or similar bug spray. You ultimately want to get a bait, like the Combat gel that comes in a tube. The cockroaches will bring it back to the nest and kill it's buddies. Go to Home Depot or Lowes. If that doesn't work, a professional exterminator is next.

I suggest using bug bombs and boric acid.
(Never hurts to use both)
Then to be on an even safer side
you should call an exterminator
to assure that the roaches are gone.
good luck with that. â¥
[[EDIT]]
You could also get ahold of the apartment manager (i forgot the word, sorry) and blame it on the apartment and hopefully he/she'll
call whoever and you'll get free cleaning.

There is some kind of chalk that you can use like on any border of the walls or the entrance of your apartment, and this thing works really good. I don't know where do you live, but you can easily find them at the Chinese stores in downtown, they call them roaches chalk. Try it am sure this will helps a lot.

Yes, I have heard about boric acid but probably ask a experienced exterminator before you try anything.
