Ticking sound accompanied by back gurguling on decelerization.
Improves greatly when engine is hot. Nothing found loose up to the spring connectors ahead of the cat conv.Just got car.

you need to take it,,and put it in the air,,while it is running to find it,,any service station will do this for a few bucks,,and you can find it for sure,,good luck with it.

This may not be just an exhaust leak. It can be many things. I have a mid 80's car and it does the same thing due to a piston knocking. it heats up and does it more. like the previous person said take it to a good shop and get them to look at it. After that then decided what to do about it. If you put in gas with a higher octane e.g. over 100 and it stops then that could be your problem. the best thing to do is have a certified mech look at it.
