i can't take it any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and well i was wondering if i should give up goth for good and shop at Hollister instead............

hot topic isnt really a "goth" store. i mean they do have really cute shirts there that dont represent the "goth look". so my opinion is that you enjoy shopping at hot topic, you should continue to do so. hope this was helpful!

Just be yourself! If it means shopping at Hot Topic or Hollister or both, then do what you want to do! You don't have to go one extreme or another, just create a style that is unique and that fits who you are on the inside. As for giving up the goth thing, I think it depends on your age. Most people I've known have grown out of that by the end of high school...

Why would you wanna do that? Everyone that shops at Hollister all look exactly the same. I should know, I shop there. I think Hot Topic is an awesome store full of crazy, sexy stuff and if I could get away with wearing it, I so would! Maybe you could mix it up a little... Good luck! :o)

Why would you ask people to make an identity for you? Are you going to wear Hollister and Aeropostale because a few people told you it's better? You've answered it on your own, your tired of the goth scene and you want to switch. But definitley don't let other people make you, or else your as good as those smoking pot commercials where those people are changing the kids appearance for him. If you don't know what i'm talking about look up Above The Influence and you'll get what I mean.

well of course you should quit shoppin at hot topic if you're over 14. well, ok, you should give up shoppin at hot topic if you have any sense at all.
why do you feel that you need to shop at these crappy mall shops? how about you find out what quality and style really are.?
as for goth. (ahem) i used to kinda like the goth girls. but look goth was cutting edge almost 20 years ago! then, no goth type would have ever set foot in a store like hot topic, get a clue. hot topic and Kmart are the same kinda store. get over it. so basically you shop for yr trendy clothes at an overpriced Kmart. hahaha.

you dont have to be goth if you dont want to. just because you dont shop @ hot topic doesnt mean you have to go to hollister. just buy clothes that you like!

If you want to be goth or punk be that way, if you want to be prep, ghetto or anything else be that way. do what u want to do, and just because you shop at hot topic doesnt mean ur goth.. just b ur self

Just dress the way you wanna dress. Be yourself. I'm sure you'll look great. You could go for like punk yet preppy for example you could get your hair tipped black, but dress like in blue jeans and stuff.
