Make a schedule and STICK TO IT. Also, make a list of specific priorities and STICK TO IT. It's entire up to you.

Sit down with paper and pen. Make a list of all of the things you would like to change or organize. Take a look at them and start working on them one at a time. Remember, you can't Change everything all at once.
Pick the easy ones and start work on those first or pick the ones that are most important and urgent and start working on those.

Give yourself a deadline. Promise yourself that by the end of the week you will have accomplished/completed 3 things.

Once things are organized, as new issues pop up try handling them immediately.

Good Luck! You can do it.
Your first step is making a priority list!

kroo, this is a great question, first, its good that you recogniise that you are a big hot mess! you are not really as bad as you might think... Second, this is a great question because people like me (also inept) love to give thier advise. so here goes...Ive heard of "life coaches". what a great idea. I wish they had them when I was 20. I am 50 now, and life is a good education, but a personal guru of sorts is like getting a little booster. (Instead of falling on your **** 10 times) Good luck, sounds like youre doing j fine really. also, read Wally Lamb's book "She's Come Undone".

I am guessing you cannot afford a life coach so try to write things down. Formulate lists and schedules. Put things in perspective and give things relative priority.
When you do set about doing a task, focus only on that task. Think about what you are doing while you are doing and to what ends your means of accomplishing the task are leading to.

First of all, get off this site, it's a big time-waster. Second, make a list of things you want to accomplish and rate each item. Then, re-order the list so that it shows your priorities. Make a schedule, and stick with it. (that's the hard part)

nope. actually, all you need is motivation. if you had it enough, everything would have been as you had planned.
the good thing is that pressure can make you have the strength to do it. it will get you motivated (though in a bad way) to perform your tasks.
so don't worry...or better, start worrying and doing all you have to do immediately
its good news if u look at it under this perspective. Pressure worked really well for me always.

If you think you have problems now, wait till you get out in the real world. College is a time of learning and fun. You may need special help.....consider seeking it.

Why don't you go to a "life coach"? You could probably find one in the yellow pages. They are good at organizing your life, your goals, etc.
